The date for the celebration for candidates to receive their First Holy Communion is Sunday April 25th 2027

Reflection

THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF SORROWS is celebrated on
Tuesday September 15th. It honours the Virgin Mary and
her seven sorrows, which include:
• THE PROPHECY OF SIMEON,
• THE FLIGHT INTO EGYPT,
• THE LOSS OF THE CHILD JESUS IN THE TEMPLE,
• MARY MEETING JESUS ON THE WAY TO CALVARY,
• THE CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OF JESUS,
• THE TAKING DOWN OF JESUS' BODY FROM THE CROSS,
• THE BURIAL OF JESUS.
It is a day to reflect on Mary's deep sorrow and suffering,
as well as her unwavering faith and devotion to God.
