Reflection

In Lent we journey with Jesus on the difficult road that leads the way to the cross on Good Friday to the living hope of Easter Sunday. With this, God invites us on our own journey through everyday life. Almsgiving, prayer and fasting are three acts that help to prepare us for the temptations that we may endure during this time. We should therefore reflect upon the importance of embracing the virtue of temperance with courage throughout life. Seek to embrace the road of virtue this Lent in imitation of Jesus.
