COVID-19 RESILIENCE AND NATIONAL RECOVERY PLAN (Update: 1st May 2021)

Published on May 1, 2021

Our Parish church will open for public worship on Monday 10th May 2021. We shall be able to accommodate 100 people in total at any one time. This means we shall have 50 people in two pods, as previously undertaken before the last shut down. The Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation will be celebrated later in the year (please see statement from Bishop Denis Nulty). The Parish community will need people to volunteer as Ushers to enable public attendance at Masses. The Ushers have responsibility to greet parishioners and visitors, assist with hand sanitising, ensure face masks are worn, handout newsletter, assist parishioners at distribution of Holy Communion, and sanitise benches after Mass. If you assisted as an usher previously, please can you contact parish Office to recommit, and if you can assist as a new usher please contact parish office to signal your service. Parishioners are asked to assist Priests and Ushers by following all guidance that will be given. It will be a great joy for us all to have this opportunity to gather to celebrate the Eucharist and other liturgies in our Parish church.
